2007 Club Car DS Villager 6 - Madjax 6" Lift Issue

I have a 2007 Club Car Villager 6, I bought the Madjax 6" lift to put on but as soon as I tore it all apart, I noticed that my golf cart has front drum brakes. I have googled tons of pictures and havent been able to find another Club Car DS with front drum brakes. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do? It doesn't look like this lift is going to work.

Those came on the Villagers due to carrying capacity. Call David Hicks 706-431-3917 tomorrow at Revolution Golf Cars. He is a CC service manager (retired) and can help you if there is a way.

Thanks! I will give him a call. I have googled many Villager 6's, and villager 6's with lifts... none of them have drums on the front.

We had 2 at work for carrying groups on tours and both had front brakes.

Ok, well that makes me feel better that there will hopefully be a fix for this. I thought this was a custom job someone did. Im probably going to have to return this lift and get a new one.

David should be able to steer you the right way and may even have what you need.
