Default what body filler do you use

I remember reading a thread about someone using the wrong body filler/bondo on a cart body but didn't see which is the recommended type. My next project front cowl has spider cracks in it and was wondering which type I need. Or should I try locating a good cowl and forget about repairing the one I already have.

if its cracked, bondo isnt going to fix it. but, i think i have a good cowl at the house.

Hmmmm, maybe a road trip might be in order. it would almost be a shame to ride all the way there though and not ride back home without a cage. I hear there's a guy there that does awesome work.

If it's just surface cracks/ crazing a good glazing putty would be fine.......

What kind do you use Brandon (wall thickness and size) and how much does it take to do a cage/rear seat set up?

i used ERW 1.5" .083 wall. call stock car steel. they are up your way. i ordered some from them when i did mine and bret's cages. my cage used about 3 20' sticks. bad part is, there is alot of waste. but, if can think of a type of cage you want and draw it out for me, i can key it into my program and see just how much tubing we will need.

Blake,I would love to see pics of a cage on a workhorse.

Does your brother use his workhorse for hauling much?
