Re: Battery filler?
Do they really cut off at the correct water level ? I don't want to have acid flowing every where.I am using a baster like filler now but I just can't tell if I'm filling to the correct level.(the water is so clean that I can't tell if it's a 1/4 inch or 1/2 inch or what)

Re: Battery filler?
yes. This is not an exact science. Close is OK. The main thing is don't ever let the plates show out of the water.

Re: Battery filler?
They work great.
You can test yours with a soda bottle so you can see where it cuts off. |

Re: Battery filler?
Better yet, is a battery fill system--it fills all the batteries at once to the correct level and doesn't spill a drop. Takes me about 30 seconds to fill 8 batteries. It is pricey but once you have one, you would never go without again!!

Re: Battery filler?
Tim,
Would you post a link to the one you have? I'm new to cart ownership and I'm not sure if i could get a baster to a few of those tough to reach back batteries! |

Re: Battery filler?
Google "battery watering system". Flow-rite and pro-fill are the biggies (maybe the same?) I have the pro-fill system. I had to buy some extra hose and run it under the front seat to reach some other batteries.
