How to remove steering wheel?
I purchased a new OEM comfort style steering wheel for my 2015 Precedent that I am refurbishing before I sell it. Only problem is I cannot figure out how to remove the two hex head screws that appear to hold on the score card cover plate so I can get access to the inside of the wheel. They appear to be about 8mm but I cannot get a socket deep enough into the hole to remove them as the hole is tapered and will not allow a socket to reach the hex head.

I have a cheap 5/16" nut-driver from harbor freight. I took the grinder to it and thinned it out so it would fit. It works perfectly for this job.
