ez go front cowl cap removal

I have a 92 electric ez go with cracked front cowl cap. Can anybody tell me how to remove it

Please post some photos so we will know exactly what you are talking about, as well as the serial number so we can confirm the year.

Thanks for the reply. The manufacture code is 63092. It is a black plastic piece with the ez go nameplate on it that attaches to the front cowl. Will send a picture once I figure out how to do it.

There's a whole bunch of 1/4" bolts holding this piece on in the glove
box there is a plastic tray that has to come out to give access to these
bolts its been a while since I did one I think the cup holder needs to come
off as well this job is a lot easier with 2 peoples....Good Luck!!!

The front plastic cowl with or without headlight cutouts just unbolts from the metal front clip. Is that what you are asking?

Is there a specific rivet (or size rivet) necessary when putting the cowl back on? I'm starting a rebuild and I'm not sure...

Jump, if you're doing a whole rebuild, just order the rivet package. If you search, you can find where someone has listed the sizes and amounts, but it's cheap and easier to just order the package.

Oh, and start your own threads. It'll be more helpful.
