If you have a moment can you pm me the part number for the wheel, adapter and column tube you purchased? I wonder if the DS and Precedent use the same?

You better check into that. I saw some steering wheels and the add said for "precedent only" on some of them.

Correct . . . Precedents use a different adapter than other Club Cars . . .

Maybe I will just give them a call and see if they have the correct adapter and wheel

UPDATE:

Finished all wiring and tested . . remarkably, everything works properly . . I wired the "trigger" wire from voltage reducer to "cold" side of key switch (the new Harley barrel key switch) along with the positive side of the in-dash digital voltage meter . . key off, no reading on voltage meter and no 12v output from reducer at fuse block . . key on, voltage meter providing pack voltage reading and 12v power is at fuse block . . . hooked up head/tail lights to umbilical cords at four corners and all lights working properly (they are hooked up to 12v fuse block) . . . reading at fuse block is 13.7v . . so for those awaiting results of the reducer I purchased, it appears to do it's job well . . .

Done for today . . . why gamble with a successful day . . ?? . .

Good to hear Steve Are you hooking your lights straight to the converter/reducer and bypassing the factory wire harness in the final assembly?
