Default Headlights 37 watt to 55 watt any problems

I have 37 watt h3 halogens in ezgo text deluxe light kit. I would like to put 55's in for more light. Is this too much for the wiring or lens. Any opinions, experience or help is appreciated. These are the standard cut in type headlights.

I'm not familiar with your kit, but I've melted lenses before doing the same thing on quads and jeeps. Wiring should be fine though.

The lenses are glass, so melting shouldn't be a problem

Thanks muck, that was my real concern. I believe I am going to try these. I toyed with using LEDs, but cruising this forums and others, the h3 is actually a daytime led or fog, many more negatives then positives, especially the cheap ones. Some do love them. I use mine in tandem with 2 led driving lights from rigid. They are super bright. I have them aimed down to not blind anyone. These buggies sure are addictive, always trying to improve mine.
