Re: Tires to blame for bad ride?
I love the look of the 14” wheels. But when I had my cart built I was strongly encouraged to go with 10” wheels due to the extra cushion provided by having that much more sidewall on the tires. It’s a bit of a trade off. The ride is so much softer with the 10’s but I like the look of the bigger wheels a lot more.

Re: Tires to blame for bad ride?
I have 25x10 ATV tires on 9 inch JD Gator wheels and no seat spring at all on this little bugger. It rides along very nice though because of the air cushioning. I run them about 10 PSI.

Re: Tires to blame for bad ride?
Double post but won't let me delete one. This site is the only one I go to where pics can't be uploaded directly and have to be hosted elsewhere. There are always more glitches that way.

Photos don't have to be hosted elsewhere. If you use the paperclip to attach your photos, they can be directly uploaded.

Instead of using the quick reply box click the button marked "go advanced". Then use the paperclip to upload and insert photos like swm63 suggested.

Re: Tires to blame for bad ride?
What’s the lowest psi I can run with 6 ply tires.. at about 8 now, maybe dropping to 5 may help too? Tires still pretty stiff at 8 .
Spacers on now with using a board to see how my tires line up i realized my alignment was more toe out in one side than in.. gonna try to get to even and see what that does.. maybe combo of rough tires and alignment being off. |

Re: Tires to blame for bad ride?
I wouldn't go below 8psi. You start to run the risk of pinching a sidewall or rolling the tire off the bead. Especially with a big heavy rig like yours.
