Default Rear Leaf Springs

I just bought a lifted 2007 CC Precendent, was told it has heavy duty rear leaf springs, but all I see is one flat leaf spring. My question is, I thought heavy duty leaf springs are thicker with more added to them? Plus, I read that u dint need your rear shocks if u have heavy duty leaf springs? Is there any truth in that? My rear shock bushings are cracked, and I was wondering if I need to replace the cracked bushings, and why? Or, just take the rear shocks off completly and not put them back on if I have heavy duty leaf springs?

Default Re: Rear Leaf Springs

I have "heavy duty springs" on my 2013 Precedent that are single leaf, and in my opinion they aren't worth the effort to install them.

I would contact Revolution Golf Cars for a new heavy duty spring:

I also believe that you should keep your shocks just for the dampening action, regardless of what some people say.
