Default Voltage meter install

I'm installing a scottyb digital voltage meter and want a second set of eyes to make sure I don't screw this thing up.....

I have a 2010 rxv (schematic attached) I need to attach power in on one side of meter and power out on the other....

am I correct to splice into the red and yellow wires when attaching to key switch?

oh rats, now i'm hungry for a plate of spaghetti....

I see too many red lines and yellow lines and black lines,
i'm sure someone with the same cart will be along, any minute now...

if you have a DVM you could check the wires on the SOC meter
those would probably be the ones you want

should be a battery pos wire, a battery neg wire,
and also a switch wire so your meter is only on when the key is on

i would call scotty .. but lookin at diagram there is a soc meter connection below the key switch
it has red ,black, and gray wire to it
you would use the red and black to power the meter

I asked my local Ezgo dealer (and friend) where they connected battery meters in the RXV and he said at the pack mains so there was no chance of intermingling with the AC system.

I see yellow to B+ at solenoid and black to B- but, I also see they use black and red at their SOC - Why not put a DC voltmeter on the SOC and see what you read?

Where did you connect?
Does it turn on-off with the key?

I connected to + meter to red off soc meter feed and - meter to blk off soc meter feed.

Meter turns on/ off with key.

Easy to do with a little help! Thank you!

Now if I can get some help on my light install life would be great....typing out another thread , after I try to fix my darn dryer that just stopped drying.
