need help..old style piston ring install
I am new to the site so thanks in advance for any help..I am rebuilding a 1993 gas ezgo 295 cc robin engine..it is for my daughter.We just got it and found that one rod was broke so here we are..My question is....I have an old style set of rings in my kit and I need to know proper installation for them..One has a beveled edge on outside on one corner.The other is completely flat with no marks at all.which is top and which is middle and does the bevel go up or down..thank you..

thank you for the help but I have found the answer.One of mine has a silver edge around it.that is the top ring..I appreciate your response quickly though.
