Ez go txt crawling in forward but tons of power in reverse
Hello all,
You guys have been my go to for problem solving, ideas and all around global feedback from other individuals posts. This is my first time account and posting so I look forward to getting to know all of you and sharing feedback. Problem is... I have an ez go txt 36 volt. Navitas controller and hd solenoid. Been running great but the F and R switch on the floor is tough to turn and has a “sweet spot” for reverse. That being said, wife drove it and she spun it and it went fast forward. Next time we put it in forward, it began crawling and has been crawling ever since. Reverse has plenty of speed and power. Had to drive in reverse just to get back home. I’ve looked and looked but can’t find solution. Took the f and r switch apart and doesn’t look burnt or anything. Worked fine for months. Thanks for your feed back and ideas. I feel like I already know some of you haha |

Re: Ez go txt crawling in forward but tons of power in reverse
IF your cart has a series drive, forward and reverse is determined by which contacts are closed in the F/R switch assembly, so the problem is in the F/R switch assembly. Replace it.
IF your cart has a sepex drive, forward and reverse is determined by the controller. Since it runs in both F and R, the controller's field output is sick, so replace the controller. |
