Re: G14 Throttle type on curtis 1204M
Well, none of them match the 0-1k throttle used in G14e. You could get throttle sensor for a G19e and use type 0 or 9 (one of them would work). It would be plug & play.

Thanks, that makes a lot of sense. Where does one look for the 0-1k information? I skimed through the service manual but didnt see it. and only one place that sold the box specified that part, I overlooked it ofcourse.

Assuming You don't have access to the other end of the potentiomer to change the range to be 1k-0Ω, it seems like you can use Type: 0 (0-5KΩ) and change the setting "Throttle Max %" to 20% or whatever the maximum value your throttle reaches with that throttle type setting.

Re: G14 Throttle type on curtis 1204M
Make sure the "Throttle Max %" is also set to "20%" so the controller will provide maximum output when the throttle signal is at 1kΩ (20% of 5kΩ).
Edit: Never mind I see you changed the entire throttle rather than re-program the controller. |

That is good info, Sergio. I havent used that controller often enough to know that parameter. I just threw out an idea I was sure would work.
