Beeps and forces cart to stop when full throttle

When I give my 2006 EZGO TXT full throttle it get going full speed for a time (no specific time frame) and then it start beeping and lose power until the cart rolls to a stop. If I don’t give it full throttle and go about 50% top speed it will run just fine without stopping. Bumps don’t impact when it loses power.
I figured it was a loose connection but going over bumps would cause it to fault out if that were the case.

Sounds like thermal shut down or you've got a bad battery/batteries causing low voltage drop out warnings. Could be full throttle is asking for more voltage than the battery pack can deliver. Experts will chime in soon.

Thank you for the reply. The batteries are new. I also suspected a thermal shut down.

Sounds like you have a 2006 TXT PDS. (The beeper on a 2006 series drive only sounds when the F/R lever is in R)

Put the controller in diagnostic mode and listen for the beeped code when it misbehaves.

Text at bottom of attached PDS label tells you how.
