Add one more that actually has ASPT as assembled from parts on the form.

Hey... I didn't write the law or forms...

Scuba, is there a list or statute that states what the restrictions are for an aspt?

Jim,

I only have the requirements for an LSV, if that is what you're talking about. As far as an ASPT such as any other vehicle, I have no idea. I would just give a call to the DVM and ask them directly and they will even send you any and all forms needed for your project.

So what's the difference between LSV and ASPT in terms of road restrictions?

If you look at my title it would show you the following:

2009 = Year
ASPT = Make, same as if Ford, Toyota, etc.
LSV = Model like Camry, Taurus, etc.
4P = Body Type like 4 door, but in LSV’s they’re 2P or 4P, 2 or 4 passenger

And the assigned VIN is only 8 characters, FLAxxxxx

So there isn’t an ASPT vs LSV, my cart is actually a 2009 ASPT LSV 4P

You could assume that if an ASPT wasn't an LSV model, it would fall in the same as a vehicle assembled from parts, or a motorcycle with the same type of restrictions for those classes. 2009 ASPT Motorcycle for example.

I see, Thanks. I didn't see the LSV on your registration.

It's not Jim, just on the title, that's why I stated:

I stand corrected Jim.

I just pulled out my title and it shows a bit different then I remembered. I've attached it here. Under Primary Brand it shows Low Speed Veh, not model. And Year, Make and Body show at the top of the title like the registration. Then the title asks for either Odo or Vessel Manufacturer, or OH use which I have no idea what that is. I do know that the Tax collector made a series of Bo Boo's and when looking at this title is shows Prev State. That alone shouldn't really be since it was Created not transfered from a previous state. Now I'm totally lost.

I just spoke with the Martin County Tax collectors office and was told that they DO issue registration, title and tags for LSV's and that they do NOT restrict LSV's. If I was told correctly, (please verify this yourself with the Martin County Tax Collector and/or the DMV here in PBC.) Believe me when I tell you that since this is NOT a normal everyday occurrence it takes a long time to get through the Tax Collectors Office, and a couple hours at the DMV. And you'll have to not mention Golf cart but do mention ASPT...
Thanks, Scuba...

So I guess I was the only one that followed through with this... and I thought for sure I would be the last one to get it done.

Ex and BSR, I know you're gonna do this also... right...
