Yamaha G19 E Limo controller recomendation
I need a recommendation on a new controller for my cart. This is a 1998 Yamaha G19E that has been cut and extended to a limo cart. I have replaced the stock tires with 23” all terrains and a 6” A-Arm lift kit. I’ve also attached the picture of the controller that I removed from the cart along with the specs on my motor. The battery setup is 8 6-volt batteries and I’ve just put new Trojans in the cart. The cart has never run for me. It was given to me and I’ve been working on the rebuild and then discovered the controller was bad.

You actually have a G22. The Moric controllers are junk and not rebuildable (at least they weren't before). Alltrax has work well for many members and it is programable.

That GE controller is very good and rebuildable if needed. Might also check out Cartsunlimited (site sponsor) for a package deal on the Altrax kit. Good luck

I would avoid buying from buggies unlimited. Check out cartsunlimited.net, like he just said. Great support and a sponsor of this great forum. I would recommend an Alltrax XCT48400 or bigger.

Re: Yamaha G19 E Limo controller recomendation
Stock GE "tin can" motor is gonna hate any controller over 400a, it's got pretty small brushes. And I believe it actually is a G19 based on motor part number, G22 would start with JU2. Someone "bastardized" with the wrong (and lame) controller.
