With the lithium and TC charger the OBC is useless and if left connected may cause problems with the controller or something (I.e. charger interlock faults). I’d take this opportunity to throw the paperweight that is the OBC in the garbage!

Jkerle - Aren't you afraid someone will plugin a factory charger to the charge port?

No, I only have one charging cord and its not connected to the only factory charger I have. You could modify the socket and plug to prevent that from happening if you think it might be an issue.

I don't think the factory charger would even turn on if you plugged it in. The charger wouldn't sense any voltage from the battery and wouldn't turn on.

That's good to know. I live in a planned community and there are literally thousands of golf carts in my town and we plugin to other people's charger all the time.

What you can do is install a 50ft retractable extension cord under the seat coming through the factory plug hole that would be sweet! You won't need to worry much about staying charged up the run time is ridiculous.

This is what I installed in place of the stock charger port. It’s great, I just use a regular extension cord to charge it.

My charger came in last night. I ordered it 6/12. It shipped on 6/8 from China. I'm not sure what takes them so long. I started on the battery pack last night. I will post pictures later today. It's enclosure can be built from most materials that you can find at the big orange store.

Battery pack has been assembled. It is probably over engineered, but I had the 1/8" 1x1 aluminum angle and no way to bend sheet metal. So I picked up 23 12x12x1/8" aluminum sheet. I only needed to make straight cuts and I have a little band saw that I used for that. You could use a circular saw and a carbide tipped blade.

You can pick it up by the top and it barely flexes.

I didn't get as far as I wanted tonight, but maybe tomorrow I can start wiring.
