Default Electric issue

My cart just recently stopped working and not sure why. It's a 2011 CC Precedent. I've done a lithium swap and changed out the motor / controller for a Teekon. Been working great for a year +. At some point I got the connections on the shunt for the battery gauge wet and it stopped working. I recently took it apart to replace the shunt (have to disconnect everything and remove the battery to get to the shunt). When I put it back together, everything was fine...for about five minutes, then it just stopped. Now when you turn the key on the solenoid doesn't 'click'. I've checked with a meter and it's getting power at the terminals on the battery and the positive/negative connections on the controller. Would it be the key ignition switch or maybe the solenoid? I'm a decent DIYer but anything electrical I'm not that great at. Any electric gurus that have recommendations would be appreciated.

I always go back to what was changed. What happens is you remove the shunt and attempt to run the cart?

Didn't think about that. I'll try that today. Of note, the one I replaced had scorching on it and one of the smaller wires had melted to it but everything still ran fine. Just the battery gauge didn't work.
