Stealth Nighthawk 72V overtemp?
Does anyone have any experience with Stealth carts? I have a 2011 Nighthawk that I love but lately I have been getting a overtemp light come on on the dash. This is from just normal neighborhood riding. This cart is a beast in the woods but I don't want to do anything to mess up my cart with this light coming on. Any advice?

Does your motor have the vent/snorkel and fan assembly?

Yes, some came with it and some didn't. I would check that first.
If it has the fan assembly I would make sure its working. |

Maybe a fan. Not completely sure. There is a vent on top of the motor. Has a tube extended high so water will not enter. how do I confirm it is working?

You need to confirm if there is the fan or not and if there is, you need to verify that its working.
You can verify its working with a volt meter |

Re: Stealth Nighthawk 72V overtemp?
Had the same problem with my Nighthawk. Motor was designed to run at speed, so when you just putt along the motor heats up, probably ok if you run it flat out. I found a company to put a 2 speed rear end in my buggy, when going slow or pulling long hills, the low range option fixed my problem. Hope this helps you out
