Default club car 48v won't charge

I am back again but with a new issue. My cart will not charge. When the charger is not hooked up the battery light slowly turns on and off and sometimes stays on. I plug the charger in light goes off and it goes to full amp charge. Just after pluging charger in it will drop to 0 amps for a split second and go back to full amp charge. Then after about 2 or 3 mins it will pop the circuit breaker on the charger and cut off. I have reset the OBC as stated in sticky. Also I have tested my charger. Is there a test for the OBC? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Almost sounds like a shorted out battery. Easy to check. Use a voltmeter and check across the pos and neg of each battery. If one has a lot less voltage it is a shorted cell.

All batteries are around 7.6v because ofcourse they are dead. Batteries are trojans and are 9 months old.

I have bypassed the OBC by jumping the grey fused wire on receptacle to the 6th battery ground. The charger will now stay charging. I quess this is the way to prove that the OBC is bad? Is there any other components that I need to look at beforemordering a OBC?

. . . the OBC turns the charger on and turns the charger off . . . typically, any bypass method to force the charger on indicates a potential OBC issue, assuming everything else, ie, fuses, wires clean/tight, pack voltage of at least 38v etc, are ok . . .
