Default Finally got some trail pics!

Finally had the opportunity to get out to some trails to see what the new wheels/tires had to offer. They performed great!

Let me know what you think.

Thanks for the fast replies. The shocks that I am running are actually Gabriel air shocks that are made for 87-95 model Jeep wrangler YJ's. I had some older Dunlop K869 tires on the art before the Duro Desert tires and they had a more round profile to them. It made it so hard to dial in the front suspension because the front end would either "dive in" or "rise up" in the suspension cycle. The profile of the Duro Desert tires are more of a flat surface so the suspension stays in the ideal ride height at driving speed. With the Dunlops I had so much trouble with the suspension fully extending under acceleration or on concrete/assfault surfaceses.

Before I changed the wheels and tires I was actually thinking of searching for a shorter air shock for the front of my cart so I wouldn't have so much "droop" in my suspension cycle. The previous shock that I was running were shocks from a Yamaha Banshee front suspension. i know know that if I had these tires that I could run them with no problem with the flat profile of the Duro Desert tires. I thought that the banshee shocks were too soft or weak to carry the front end of the cart. Really it was just a bad tire design for the application.

I forgot to talk about the limiting straps on my suspension set-up. The ONLY reason I had the limit straps on my suspension was because of the round profile of the tires that I WAS running. I bought those tires for $20 used and wheels where found for $80 and it made my life hell trying to make a suspension that I made from scratch a bitch making it work. After I got these wheels/tires my cart is AWESOME...

Well it makes me feel that is is worth all my trouble.

What watt are the PIAA Lights? Do you like them? I thought about putting a couple KC lights on my cart.
