Controller question
I am just setting my first buggy up and it will have 23" tires and wheels. It will be going up and down hills as it is a hunting/sporting clays cart. At some point, I am thinking I may switch from 36V to 48V.
My question is this, I see a lot of places carry the All Trax controllers, and I also see some GE, as well as Curtis (I think that is the name). For the amount of amps provided, the GE has a much cheaper price. Is there more I should be looking at other than amps? What can you tell me about other controllers other than All Trax? Here is what I mean. http://www.cartszone.com/catalog/cart09/585its.htm http://www.cartszone.com/catalog/cart09/555.htm thanks |

Re: Controller question
Alltrax enjoys the best name in aftermarket and direct replacement controllers... If I was wanting to climb hills I would go with a little bigger controller that had the ability to let the motor pull all the amps it wanted. Like the 4865. Most people do not need a programable unit. They set them up just fine... In fact the WOT setting possible with a programable are for hotdogs only
