V-Glide to MCOR 4 conversion
Custom cart can"t find the serial # Club Car frame maybe early 95, V-Glide with 0-5k resistance signal , New AXE 4855 R8 controller, new batteries
Two previous posts about this cart:AXE controller not powering up (controller replaced) and Multi step pot rebuild. (jerky throttle response with new controller) I looked at the conversion kit AM293201 but it states it will not work on the early 95 models with v-glide with 0-5k resistance signal. Would the AM293201 kit work with this cart with the new controller set on 5k-0 resistance signal? |

Re: V-Glide to MCOR 4 conversion
If the wiring on the cart is for the 0-5k pot then that is a 2 wire pot and the MCOR is a 3 wire pot. May need a bit of harness adaption. David is sure to know the answer.

Re: V-Glide to MCOR 4 conversion
Since you already have the AXE control and it is a well know fact they do not respond well to MCOR plan on making a signal reducer as Sergio posted some time ago. Or alternatively use a true potentiometer 0-5k and the control will be very smooth and customer happy.

Re: V-Glide to MCOR 4 conversion
The MCOR4 conversion kit won't work with the 0-5K and it also won't work with the old style pedal linkage that your 1995 may have. I'd have to know the model number of your original controller to tell you for sure what you have. I'm with Scottyb on this one. Just get a potentiometer that works with your controller. The MCOR4 is a 3 wire setup and if you can set your controller up for a 2 wire, it would be much easier to do that if that's what the vehicle was originally setup for.
