Default Purchasing leaf cells on ebay?

I’ve been lurking in the shadows reading up on all these conversions. With my Trojans in my 09 Precedent on their way out I’ve been browsing ebay for 7 cells to do a conversion. I’m coming across a lot of offerings that range from 60% to 75% capacity ratings (haven’t found any higher than 75%). Are these the cells everyone is purchasing and using or am I shopping in the bargain bin aisle here? I’ve read several threads on the conversions etc but I’m uninformed when it comes to the specs on the batteries being posted. Thanks

Yes, the G2 Leaf Modules is what is being used a lot. The goal is to try and get them with the lowest mileage or max capacity available. Take your time and shop around....

There have been several of us that bought ours from a seller on there going by the handle "azlithium". I have not seen anyone unhappy with what they received.

I purchased from azlithium. My units are Gen 1 and I have no complaints. Cost for my 7 modules was $574. I've been very happy with my entire setup.

He's got a storefront now as well:

http://www.azlithium.com/

I bought my 14 modules from him.

Thanks for the link, I had done a search on ebay but it looked like he didn't have any leaf cells. I shot him a message and will see if he has something not listed.

They go in and out of stock weekly. Just check the site once a day or so.

Remember that these things come out of salvaged electric cars so availability will vary. As far as I know, there is no way to buy new Leaf cells which is a shame because they are excellent for our application.

AZlithium got ahold of me yesterday in regards to that, he's telling me the Chevy Volt batteries are the best option available right now. Anyone else had any experience with those, I'd prefer not to try and reinvent the wheel on my first lithium swap lol.

I have a Volt pack on my Nephews cart. Great, but the max voltage is just over 50 volts, but he does love it. For the most performance, I prefer the Leak due to higher available voltage.
