G1 Golf Cart with broken throttle cable and burnt up belt
I recently purchased a G1 and after having it about two hours I was running it between my and the neighbors house hit a little bump she made some terrible noises and came to a stop. Immediatly I notices the throttle cable broke where it connects to the throttle and the drive belt was being eaten up. Upon futher investigation I found the belt was the wrong size and I would suspect that was causing it to be chewed up. I know I have to replace the throttle cable but when i hit the gas pedal now the starter belt will not engage the primary clutch, the electric motor just spins and and doesn't catch the belt.
Thanks for any thoughts - Jon |
