Default Use It For Free Or Own It

Neighbor brought over a millermatic 130, 110 volt welder today. He says I can use, store it or buy for 150 dollars. It is in good shape but does not have the gas kit. I think it is a good deal and I am going to buy it. I hate to borrow things and if I build a cart and get the gas kit it will be all mine.

So deal or no deal??

Now there's a good man - Someone that will buy it, instead of permanatley borrowing! Is it a 110 (wall plug) welder? We have one here at the shop and I also have one at my house and they are great for little touch up repairs. Come to think, the last few times it was used was when my neighbor BORROWED it?

How long did he keep it?
It is a 110 wall plug. and I did some 3/16 plate with it using the flux core in it. It took a large loop and weave to do, but it is a strong weld.

They are good for little jobs. They tend to work best plugged directly into a wall and not an extension cord. The flux wire is faitly easy to use. I have a big Millermatic 210 that I use at the shop for building cages and big jobs...

I was gonna say it is too small... store it for the neighbor and if you find you need a bigger one, buy a 220v 185 amp Lincoln that will take a gas bottle and run an aluminum wire spool gun .........uh-oh here we go on the welder war again

Did we forget that this was a $150.00 welder opportunity?
