Default EZGO Starting Problem

I have a 2003 Ez Go gas and I am having starting issues. I was riding around for a while in my neighborhood and stopped at a stop sign. I gave it some gas and my battery wouldn't turn the motor over (some how my battery lost all power). I pushed it home and charged the battery and now the motor will turn over but it will not fire up. I replaced the spark plugs (thinking they may have been fowled, they are old and needed replacing any way). I took the spark plug out of the motor and grounded it to a piece of metal and turned the motor over and the plugs were not firing. Any one have any idea what my problem is? Thanks.
