Rebuilds have begun...
I just picked up 2 2012 EZGO RXV's from a local golf course. They're not in great shape, but not terribly beat up. 2014 and 15 batteries, so they've got some life for sure. This is the 3rd and 4th cart that I've rebuilt and modded. I love these things and they're a pleasure to work on. The last 2 I did I've sold and made a little money on, so I figured why not go for it again... 2 at a time. One is going to be built as a more budget cart, the other is going to be a higher end cart with custom seats, etc. I'll update this thread as I do some of the work with the hope of helping others out if they've got questions on some of the stuff I've done. Anyway, important part - the pics.

Seats ripped apart. Let me tell you, that sucked getting the staples out of the wood. Something I noticed, the wood on the seat back was significantly softer than the seat bottom... which also meant I gouged it more.

Tops painted. Used Krylon Fusion Satin Black. I always do serious prep. Scotch Brite, dish soap and water wash, pre-paint, tack cloth, then paint. Takes forever but the finish is pretty amazing.

Got some work done this week. Cut the holes for the headlights and taillights. unfortunately I forgot to take pics of that. Bodies removed and sent off to paint though. You can tell these carts were DIRTY underneath...

Post wash with my pressure washer. Made a HUGE difference. The last one I did I couldn't use my pressure washer (it was in the shop) so it didn't clean up quite as good. This go, MUCH better. Also replaced the front bumper for one of the carts with a new one and replaced the rear bumper with a new one. Coming together.

Finally "juicing" up some of the black stuff. I use this stuff that's amazing! Essentially an oil and paint mixed together for black plastic. It's called ReNu. Works amazing and is WAY longer lasting that any Armor-all type stuff (over a year on a car with regular washing). Essentially paints the parts and makes them look brand new.

One final thing for today. Got the seats back this week from upholstery. Did one set just in black, the other I had a bit more fun with.
