Default Braking issues

I had a emergency brake cable brake on a 500 LE. I got installed new cables and cleaned up the rear brake and manually adjusted them. Before the brake cable problem the brake pedal was going almost to the floor, now it seems to be doing the same thing but you have to pump the brake pedal at least once before you get any pressure in the brakes. even then, it isn't much. If anybody can give me any help I would appreciate it.

I had a similar issue with my 2012 Emerge ... brake pedal going all the way to the floor. The problem was eliminated with the replacement of the master brake cylinder.

I used a golf cart mechanic to replace the brake master cylinder.

Here is the repair manual which may be of assistance:

Got mine finished. Installed a new master cylinder. I bled it by cracking open each resivior connection, one at a time .pumping brakes after each one. Then bleeding brakes starting at passenger side rear then d. SIDE REAR then p side front and finally d side .front. Helps to have helper pump brakes for you.
