Default brake cable

I need a brake cable for a 2000 pds ezgo drivers side. Seems to be hard to find. Anyone here have one? Local ezgo dealer said you have to buy both cables and he didnt have them. I would like to have one asap.

Ordered it from "the cart barn". Couldn't find the correct cable on their web site so called them. They had it ordered in 5 min and was only $22 with $9 for two day shipping.

Yes, it is a very common part available alone or in a pair. Every golf cart repair shop stocks them....Seems your local dealer is not very helpful.

Yeah, I think you are right Scotty. He said that ezgo had upgraded those brake cables and you could only order the pair with the bracket. He said he didnt have the part number in his book and would have to call ezgo and get back with me. He has never called me. I think It was too little of an order for him to fool with. Kind of surprised me as he has lots of new ezgos in his shop and very busy.
