RXV brake light question
Both of the following electric carts have aftermarket light kits.
2014 EZGO RXV with Curtis controller. The brake lights are connected via a 24V EZGO relay under the dash - purple and red from controller to red and green from light kit. The brake lights work when you depress the brake pedal. The brake lights DO NOT come on during the time when you let off the “gas” pedal and the cart slows down to a stop without depressing the brake pedal. 2018 EZGO RXV with Navitas controller. The brake lights are connected via a 24V EZGO relay under the dash - purple and red from controller to red and green from light kit. The brake lights work when you depress the brake pedal. The brake lights DO come on during the time when you let off the “gas” pedal and the cart slows down to a stop without depressing the brake pedal. Question - Is there a setting in the Curtis controller software to enable the brake lights to come on during the time when you let off the “gas” pedal and the cart slows down to a stop without depressing the brake pedal ? I have a Curtis handheld scanner (1313-4331) and was hoping to be able to enable this setting - if possible. |
