Default 48 volt charging question

I have a 2001 DS regen cart. This is a cart that I know well but just bought. In it's history, 36 volts were used to replace the 48. This was an honest mistake a guy made that didn't know carts. It sat for a while and he tried to jump the charger to get it to come on and cooked the charger. I bought the cart recently and replaced batteries and it runs fine.

I ordered an aftermarket charger for it (Vevor 48v 15amp) and wanted to know if this will work with the OBC assuming it didnt get fried. What are my options if the charger doesn't charge because of the OBC?

Pretty sure you are going to have to bypass the OBC to make it work.

You will want to bypass the OBC. Read the stickies.

When new charger gets here, is there a way to tell if it works with the OBC?

I've read the stickies and have a difficult time figuring out what I need to do to get past the OBC. Is there a simple way to do it?

Yes, to use Any other charger than the factory Powerdrive, you should bypass the OBC.
Yes, it’s that simple.
