2009 Club Car an Oddball
While troubleshooting my 2009 Club Car Precedent for hesitation when pressing the accelerator pedal, the analyzer showed that it had a bad MCOR. Came to find out that the 2009's came out with a new MCOR that didn't work, so there was a recall. They installed an adapter cable between the main MCOR plug and the MCOR to allow it to connect to the the MCOR 2. Why?
Is there a way to rewire so not to have to use the adapter? Could not find an MCOR 2 available locally. So ordered one from Amazon. I understand that these are not good and will go out after a short time. What is considered a good MCOR 2? Also I understand that there is a an adapter cable available to connect to the newer MCOR 4. Is the MCOR 4 better and more reliable than the MCOR 2? Thanks for any help. |
