Re: longer club car brake cable?
Check with sponsers as they should have cable extender kits for lifted Club Cars.
This is a common problem and should be easy to take care of? I have heard that you can in some cases us EZGO cables?? |

Re: longer club car brake cable?
How far too short are they? You can swap sides with the back plates. This will give you higher ground clearance for the cables and essentially make them a little longer since your going on a straiter line to the actuator.

Re: longer club car brake cable?
Dont mean to hijack, but I have an old Hyundai maintenance gas cart, I need at least 4 inches to be safe, do you think sponsors will have the cables?

Re: longer club car brake cable?
What size lifts ya'll running? We use stock cables on 8" lifts. 10" CC requires longer. The sponsors can help with longer cables. Hyundai???? Maybe. Got a pic of the stock cable?

Re: longer club car brake cable?
I will snap a pic tomorrow, I did a custom lift with 16 inch yamaha 660 shocks for the back, and lowered the upper shock mounts about 3 inches, total lift about 10 inches roughly. I am eventually going to lower rear pivot point, thus the need for new cables. Front end will be fully independant suspension with upper and lower control arms, about 8 inches of travel all around

Re: longer club car brake cable?
For the CC guys...
Do you have Gas, or Electric? and what size lift? There is a cable extention kit for CC electrics with a 6" lift but, none for the gassers... this is what I had done for my gasser! http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/lifte...-brackets.html |
