Default Lifted Gas CC brake cable extention brackets

It's been a while since I've started a thread, so this is going to be a bit long!

Here was my dilema...

My 07 CC Lynx came stock with a 4" Z lift, But, I was hoping to get a 6" lift on it...
Well... with the frame cut, there didn't seem like I had many options of getting that!

About a year ago, scottyb had mentioned that he had put on a Jakes 3" spindle lift on one (or two) of his carry-alls,
and being the carry-alls have the same Z lift, I thought I would give it a try also!

I bought the lift from CPP, and installed it! I was (and am) very happy with the outcome!
It was EXACTLY what I was looking for! (Thanks scotty & CPP!)

About a month later, I took it to the sand pit at my campground, (a "play area" were you can test the guts of your cart)
Well... my Snubber came off!!! (fortunately, it was still in the engine pan!)

I went back to my site, got it back on... 3 weeks later... it came off again!!!
(This time... it was no where to be found!)

So I brought the cart home, and made a bracket to lower the engine pan, and level out the snubber so it stays on!

Like this: (I've made it a bit shorter since this pic!)

But, this is where my REAL problem came in!
My brake cables were almost rubbing on my drive clutch... a few zip ties were a quick, BUT... temporary fix!

I knew there were Brake cable "extension kits" for lifted electric CC's... but, none for the gassers...
Now... I am mechanically inclined... but I'm definitely not a fabricator or welder!

I asked my CC dealer about it, and he felt there may be someone else that may be in need of something like this also...
so he fabed up something for me! (sort of similar to the electric extensions!)

Old and new brackets... side by side:

Original bracket still installed:

New bracket and extension installed:

And now, this is where my cable sits:

It worked perfectly!... exactly what I was looking for!

Now, I know some of you guys could make these...
basically, it an original bracket, cut, with an 1 1/2" filler,
and then the aluminum cable extension.

Keep this in mind, when you lift newer CC gassers, or you just need just a bit of extra brake cable!

Whew... thanks for reading this "extended" post!

Wow... thanks guys!
I figured this thread would get buried, because I answered my own question!

I just felt I should post it, in the event someone else may have the same problem!

I took it for a run down the block yesterday...
33 mph (according to Tom Tom) with the 25's on it! ... (29 with the 22's)

Sadly, no... I had mine custom made by my CC dealer,
he liked the idea, but, there's so few calls for them, it didn't make sense for him to keep a stock of them.
