Generator belt slips
I have a 2002 gas Club Car and the generator belt has been replaced 4 times in the last year. It starts to slip about every 10-15 hours of usage and gets progressively worse very quickly once it starts. I tighten it a couple of times and then replace it with the Club Car OEM belt (1/2" X 36"). Any suggestions on a fix?

Re: Generator belt slips
I would also check the pulley out carefully on the back of the drive clutch.
They do have to be really tight to work properly. are you tightening all of the bolts that hold it? -Aaron |
