Overspray removal?
I have a stock green bodied Ezgo Txt with white specs of overspray on it. I'm guessing previous owner painted something close to it with a rattle can. Any ideas of removing this overspray and not hurting or scratching the body?

Re: Overspray removal?
Try turtle wax bug and tar remover, it is thick will stay in one spot
and is a mild solvent. Start weak and move to hotter solvents. But me I always go to the carb cleaner first, every thing I own is matte finish. |

Re: Overspray removal?
Would gas be too much on the body? Used it on a small spot and removed it.

Gas will work just fine as long as you aren't smoking while doing it.

Re: Overspray removal?
Thanks, no joke though, as far as an open flame near it, how long should I wait?

Re: Overspray removal?
I would think after about a day all of the flammability should be evaporated, I am by no means an expert on cleaning with gas though.

Re: Overspray removal?
Thanks, reason I ask. I wiped on some last night and needed to cut off some more of my rear shock mount tonight with the plasma cutter. Body is on top, sparks going underneath. Wouldn't think a spark would get close, but would rather be safe with gas.
