Default Refurb or trade/sell as is?

Recently acquired a 2010 Club Car Villager 6 seater as part of an auction lot, that has been sitting for some time. This is my first cart, but we don't really need a 6 seater, so debating whether I should fix it up or sell it or trade it as is.

So to those with vastly more experience, what would you recommend?

It would all depend on current condition and what you have invested.

I know one thing, cart prices have goon out the roof in the last year. Check on what you may want before letting it go too cheap. May be cheaper to fix up and drive it for a little while until prices come down again (if they ever do).

Running and driving will get you more money than sitting, but the more time you put into it, the more questionable your profit margin becomes. pics would help quite a bit.

6 seaters have their own problems due to the added weight. It's not what I would recommend for a first cart... advertise it as for trade for running 2 or 4 seater. Lots of people love these big carts.

There's a lot of ways to go with them, room to get creative. Depending on what you have to replace, a lot of it has to "custom", but as far as the basics go, it's just a normal DS, so they're easy enough to work on.

I agree it wouldn't be my first choice for a first cart. Running is always better for a sale. I am going to make an assumption that you are into it for a fair price, if so, if your skills are such that you can make it run, then I would do that. I will say that I like them... My wife does not... She says fells like driving a bus.. She just wants a plain old electric cart, with pretty tires... Yes I know, she says tires.

If you are interested in selling it like it is, feel free to put a price with some pictures. That cart is a good find if it's in good condition.

Here are some pics. Front & middle seats are in decent shape but could stand being reupholstered.

From what I can tell it needs it just needs a headlight & whatever goes in the dash from this pic, the rest is mostly cosmetic.

I'd be interested in trading if someone has a 4 seater that's been upgraded, in N GA.
