Default 2003 Club Car - One Battery Not Charging

So I am new to this whole golf cart thing, and know very little (read nothing) about wiring or electricity. The last battery in the bank is not charging. All of the batteries were replaced a few months ago right before I purchased it. The previous owner experienced the same problem and thought it was the battery so he had it replaced. He thought it was fixed and sold me the cart. Well it didn't fix it and I thought that it was a fluke and got another battery as well. So we have been through three batteries in the same spot that wont charge. So finally the question - could batteries arranged in a series not charge one battery? All work was done in shop so I have to assume all wiring was done correctly. Could my charger not be charging the last battery? Sorry for my ignorance, I am trying to learn all this stuff. Thanks for your help.

Check your wiring with the Sticky - Club Car 36v/48v battery wiring. The only thing that comes to mind is that if the red wire from the charger recepticle is attached to the + of battery #2 then #1 will not get charged.

if its the rear battery on pass. side thats the #1 battery and most common problem is people putting the 10 gage red charging wire on the #2 battery ( front pass side ) so double check and make sure that red 10 gage wire from the charge receptical is going to the rear battery......this is on a 6 volt 6 battery setup.............................................
