2003 txt clutch issue??
The engine revs up high and then the cart jumps into forward or reverse.
I put on a new stock size belt but no change. There seems to be a lot of play when moving the driven clutch back and forth, is that normal? To get any type of normal start I hold the brake and push on the gas until I feel the clutch engage and then release the brake so that it starts out without jumping. Would a shorter belt help? Any suggestions |

Sounds to me you have a defective drive clutch.

The spring gets weak the ramps where out. You loose the preload and it wants to fly open.
