Question which first??

Would really like some guidance in relation to most cost effective steps,or mods,to extend the range of my hunting cart.It is a G19 and runs 6x 8 volt T875 Trojans. The type of use it will get is crawling along, stopping and only really top speed on way home.Oh,it has a 7 inch lift and 21 inch wheels. Thanks:

running 8 6V batteries will be your best upgrade for range.

Or get a gas cart and carry a Jerry can, 10 gallons of gas should be good for at least 500 miles or so

If you're looking into upgrading batteries, I'd seriously consider running (8 qty) 6 volt batteries instead of (6 qty) 8 volt. 2 extra batteries give a lot more capacity and maintain the same 48 volt configuration. Better batteries like the ranger would only improve on that even further :)

I was thinking that, although there is an increase of 73kgs when going from 6x T890"s to 8x T145"s,what would be the rough run time of either, considering 40% hilly terrain and 60% flat running,i want to try to use it for night and then again ealy in the morning??
