Default EZGO cart 36v will move about 3 inches thats it.

Hi all..... I have an ezgo cart aprox 5 years old its badged as The Beast Huntin buddy. So here is my problem. When i switch it on it moves about 3 inches and thats it. Batteries are fully charged and checked.. they are new too. It has a Curtis PMC controller p/n 73326G07 s/n 8036-255752.
When I use the diagnostic mode I get one beep and then a continuous beep.. I am Right in thinking that it shows a faulty controller?? If so can controllers be repaired easily ??
Thanks in advance!!!!

Only moving a few inches is a symptom of the solenoid contacts not making contact.

Does the solenoid click when pedal is pushed?

Does the resistor between the large terminals on the solenoid get hot when pedal is pushed and held for half a minute or so?

Disconnect the resistor and see if that stops it from even going 3 inches. If so, it's the solenoid.

I fixed it today!!! YEHH!! It was the solenoid.. It clicked and then this was followed almost immediately by a very quiet click. I also found my tester was faulty.! So I changed out the solenoid and the resister and it worked !!!
