Looking for advice on quieting down my 18 HP duramax engine.

Car muffler, larger lawn muffler, rice rocket muffler, large atv muffler, generator muffler, tractor/equipment mufflers are some people have used. I used a car muffler its maybe quieter than a large single lawn mower, its quieter than most atv, still louder than a stock cart I can hear it. Its very, almost stock quiet at 1/4 throttle or less. It would be quieter with a tailpipe but I don't have one on it yet, if ever, I kind of like how it sounds and I can ease off it and it gets pretty quiet. Only bad part is that makes it harder to go fast at night lol.
