Alright thanks guys, Ill try that. It is their new header which has the one support bolted to the motor as well, but I do think it needs more. Like a stiff piece of metal, weld it to the muffler and pick a bolt on the axle - should be enough? Or should I use an exhaust type strap to just help with the vibration? Also, any ideas for some sort of baffle in the end of my tailpipe to cut the noise down a little more?

I use a standard issue tail pipe uni mount from auto zone/napa for mine..
one of the old rubber between the clamp and strap. Has just enough flex to
work great

Gotcha - run it horizontally from muffler to axle?, I'll pick up a few and see what works. Any idea on how to keep my header bolts from coming loose? I have lock washers on them and they work looses quick. High temp loctite??

that is why you need the muffler and tail pipe fixed to the axle/cradle..its all one piece for all intents and purposes.

Alright, I'm gonna weld a support from the muffler to the axle. I'll post a pic what I come up with.

Alright, so I went hunting this weekend - cart works amazing - WAY more power. But this Walker "Quiet" muffler is falsely advertised. Nothing against Vegas, they have been great - but the quiet muffler they sell is anything but quiet and I cannot return it now I'm sure. Need some suggestions on a muffler. Four wheeler muffler, street bike, etc.??

I have been hunting a muffler for mine and I was fore warned about the quiet muffler so I stayed away from it. Walker makes another muffler item number 22020. I think summit is the only one that has them. They're about 80 bucks. Buy one and let me know how quiet it is...LOL

I think my muffler is pretty quiet but you know about opinions. I used a factory Harley muffler and made my own dual to single flange. It worked great and I like the sound. It's quiet if you stay out of the carb....... Meaning don't give it Hell. But if you really get into it it sings and I like the way it sounds both ways.

This thing before the tailpipe is **** near as loud as my Harley, which has loud pipes on it. I'm not exaggerating. Hmm....ill do some digging and see what I come up with. Think the stock muffler is too restrictive?? I could weld it on there....

Question, how would going from a thicker 1 1/4" belt to a thinner - 1 1/8" belt make me lose 2-3 MPH? Wouldn't it be the opposite?
