Default another Turf Rider IV project

hi,
I too just found a early 60's TR IV 4 wheeler that was too good of a deal to pass up-$100. I'm planning to do a gas conversion on it since I'm more comfortable with engines vs motors. The front suspension is fairly crude and not something that would inspire confidence above 10mph, I'm looking at maybe something like the Yamaha lower arms and spindles for a conversion, plus it would allow me to do disc brakes as well. Has anyone tried this on a non-Yamaha cart before ?

thanks !
Ron
