I see these on Ebay and don't understand exactly how they work. In pictures I see 2 of them in carts, id like to go lithium I just don't know anything about it really. Any advice for a newbie wanting to go lithium on a club car precedent ?

Re: chevy volt with BMS
Well, you really need to read through the several lithium build post on the forum. I say that as you need to get as much of an "education" on these builds as you can in order to understand what you need and what the information about a lithium battery pack is showing.....via a BMS (Battery Management System) so you can interpret the information properly.
The "other" possible way is to wait a little longer as the Trojan Battery Company is said to be releasing their lithium batteries specifically for golf carts. Each battery is suppose to have it's own BMS, and these are allegedly suppose to be "drop in & 'n run" batteries. |
