Default First time project Club Car DS 1999

A group of friends and I all decided to try our hand at golf cart rebuilding. This is my first go around and I enjoy looking at everyone's projects, so I figured I would post mine. So here we go, 1999 (I think) CC DS series. I bought the cart a couple of weeks ago and started on this past weekend 04/09. I think we made pretty good progress for the first weekend.

I am putting a 6" A-arm lift with 22" tires, PQ motor, new body/top, and lights, blinkers, horn, etc. I have the lift on and just got the rims & tires in last night. The new body and rear seat should be here by Friday.

Lift kit and rims/tires.

The original height was +/-8" and after the lift with tires, it is right about 17". That is a little more than 6" but maybe after putting the weight back on, it will drop an inch or two.

Second weekend and just about finished. I still need to wire all the lights, horn, blinkers, etc... but the body is on and it is running. I am kinda surprised how quickly it all came together. Stay tuned for more posts of my buddies carts as we get started on them.
