Default 1999 Club Car - Brakes lock on one side. Adjustment possible?

1999 Club Car, gas. Right side tire locks up when braking, not sure if the left is contributing much or not. I was hoping for a simple adjustment. I've not pulled the drummed off to look at the shoes, and can if needed, but again was hoping maybe a few turns of a wrench or allen bolt would tighted up the loose side and help it to brake evenly.

I googled, and searched here, and found that on some models, there is a preload/pad spreader adjustment screw at the TOP of the drum, on the back side, that can be adjusted. My cart does not have this. It looks like there is a place for it, like the same drum is used on carts that do have that, but mine appears to have a plug in the holes that this would utilize.

I have cables that attach at the bottom of the drums on the back side. There is a rubber (oval shaped) cover over the base of where these attach, that can be pulled off to expose what looks like a locknut over an allen bolt, that in theory is for adjustment.... is that theory correct? Righty-tighty lefty-loosy?

Thanks in advance!

Doh! Not sure how that happened, I've only been in the Club Car section, I thought.

Though in doing some searches before starting a topic, I may have clicked on a topic in another section.... that's probably where I goofed was by then posting.

Not sure how to move it, may just have to repost there. Sorry.
