Default New build, new look

Hello all. About a month ago I stumbled on to a very good deal on an 03 EZGO TXT. It was rundown, dead batteries, no charger, but it had good bones and was cheap so I jumped on it. This is my first cart even though I have put umpteen miles on golf carts over the years. I always thought I’d end up with a Club Car, but this seems to be a good one.

I have good mechanical and electrical knowledge, so this was definitely going to be DIY with some advice needed. First things first, I bought batteries. Thankfully once installed the cart runs fine. I started ordering parts at this time to make it mine. Lift kit, wheels and tires, seat covers, etc, etc. My goal was to make a good looking functional runabout and clays cart. Here’s the result. I think I was successful!
