Pat,

Sorry I was not clear either… we pretty much always charge when we hit 70% and go to 100. The ReLion fuel gauge connects to one of the 48v packs and to the Canbus and it reports 2 batteries, % charge and aH.

They have been working fine until this incident and now seem to discharge a lot at night if not plugged in, in the past maybe 1-2% not 10% with no changes or additions to the cart.

I have an eagle performance charger..

Waiting on a call back from ReLion as it seems the BMS reset didn’t help

Appreciate the advice

Hi Lou,

If there have been no changes to the cart then you have at least one bad battery. Are you able to change your configuration to a single battery and trying each one individually?

Cheers
Pat.

ReLion believes that on of my batteries has a bad cell but since I have only two batteries the BMS may believe that it doesn’t have enough voltage.

They are going to send me two new batteries and a new charger because they don’t want me to worry about troubleshooting any more that I have.

Great customer service !

Default Update: My ReLions failed stranding the wife

I wanted to post an update to this.

ReLion honored their promise and sent me two new batteries to replace the ones that were reporting SOC incorrectly and going into fail safe.

Will install them and run them thru some cycles.

Cheers
Lou
